H. E. Ambassador Mr. Boumediene Kanad is received by H. E. Mr. Ibrahim abdulrahmanov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Within the framework of courtesy visits to various officials of the Republic of Uzbekistan to strengthen Algeria's relations with this brotherly country, on the sixteenth of March 2023, His Excellency Mr. Boumediene Kannad, ambassador of Algeria to Tashkent, was received by His Excellency Mr. Ibrahim abdurahmanov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with whom he reviewed friendly relations and cooperation. He also discussed with him Ways and possibilities of strengthening them, especially in the field of higher education, scientific research and the exchange of experiences and expertise.

On this occasion, the two sides expressed the readiness of the two countries to work to strengthen cooperation between them by exploiting the enormous capabilities that abound in each of them, in terms of the number of universities and institutes of higher education and scientific research, allowing the establishment of close cooperation relations between them, especially through the conclusion of twinning agreements.
